Uttam Kumar: Telangana would remain indebted to Sonia Gandhi for granting statehood
“Krithagnatha Dinotsavam” (Thanks Giving Day) was organized by the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) as a part of the 70th birthday celebrations of Sonia Gandhi at the Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad on Friday.

Speaking on the occassion, TPCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy said that Telangana would not have been possible without Sonia Gandhi and the people of the state would remain indebted to her for the historic decision.
Stating that Sonia Gandhi took the decision despite the political consequences the party would have to face, Uttam Kumar said that she did it only to keep the promise made to Telangana people.
The event had TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, senior leaders Mohammed Ali Shabbir, S Jaipal Reddy, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, V Hanumantha Rao, former Ministers Danam Nagender, Marri Sashidhar Reddy, TPCC general secretaries Banda Karthika Reddy and Vinod Reddy among others in attendance.
