Nalgonda: Education to all without disparity should be the slogan of education policy of the government, All India Educational Rights Forum President Professor Anil Sadgopal stated. On Saturday, he along with Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukender Reddy launched the DTF’s 4th state level three-day meeting at Shivanjaneya function hall in Nalgonda.

Multi level education system has been widening the gaps comprising class, caste, region, religion, language, colour, physical fitness etc. In order to eradicate this situation equality based common school education system from Primary to 12th class in mother tongue must be carried out, and if possible up to PG level also, he emphasised.

He criticised both the Centre and state governments for improper implementation of Articles 14 and 15(1) of the Constitution, which emphasise on equality before law and prohibition of discrimination on different grounds respectively.

He quoted the messages of Constitution architect, Dr.BR Ambedkar and Great Telugu poet Gurazada Apparao to highlight how the education system should be.

He lauded the principles of DTF and urged the other teacher organizations and learned people to fight for common school education system and against communalisation and commercialisation of learning of Centre’s proposed new educational policy in order to protect the government schools for the welfare of poor.

Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukender Reddy highlighted the pitiable status of students of government schools in Chandampet and Dindi mandals of the district due to unwillingness of teachers to work in those mandals owing to it being remote and distant.

He stated that rights and responsibilities are two sides of the same coin and advised teachers to render valuable services to students of remote areas equally with urban ones, while fighting for their genuine rights.

Expressing his concern over the corporate culture, he said those forces not only commanding the education field but also politics. Saying that teaching is a noble profession in the society he urged the teachers to educate students in such away to craft corruption - free ruling, corruption- free electoral system and proper education to all with equal opportunities.

DTF state president M. Raghu Shankar Reddy presided over the inaugural function and leaders of the organisation M.Somaiah, Nomula Satyanaryana R.Ravinder reddy, members and presidents of organization of new districts of the state and also AP chapter leaders also participated.
