Sangareddy: In between all the chaos prevailing near the ATMs where people spend an entire day in long serpentine queues just to get Rs 2500, a kind gesture by a retired policeman who himself stood in the queue for several hours has reiterated the fact that social duty and passion are not driven by profession or age, but by a strong will to do something for the society in whichever way possible.

A Venkaiah (68), a retired Sub-inspector of Police, who retired from service eight years ago came to SBH main branch ATM in Sangareddy in the morning to withdraw money from the ATM just like anyone else. This ATM was the only one dispensing cash on Saturday, as it was a bank holiday and money was available only in this ATM.
