Agreeing with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to adopt a cashless society, Union Labour minister Bandaru Dattatreya on Sunday said that the Centre would soon amend the Payment of Wages Act which would ensure the workers get salaries either through cheque or in their bank accounts.

Addressing the media in Hyderabad, Dattatreya said that the decision would put an end to the exploitation of workers by the employers while paying wages and salaries.

He further informed that five crore more jobs would be created in the country for youngsters in the private sector adding that the initiatives taken by the Prime Minister Modi would drastically reduce unemployment in the country by 2022.

Reacting strongly against the Congress for criticizing the NDA government over the issue of demonetization, the Union Minister said that Congress has a close relation with black money.
