Ensure perfect implementation of govt schemes

Karimnagar: ZPTCs and MPPs, along with people’s representatives should monitor for perfect implementation of the government’s welfare schemes, suggested Finance Minister Eatala Rajendar. He was the chief guest at the Zilla Parishad meeting held at the Collectorate’s auditorium here on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the officials and people’s representatives must work for the welfare of the people. The government was determined to solve any issue immediately for the welfare of the people, he added.

‘The Central government has sanctioned funds to gram panchayats by reducing the funds of 14 economic commissions. Though funds were not released to all sections equally in the past, the Telangana government by perfect analysis is releasing funds equally to all sections from city to village panchayats,’ he said.

The dangling electric wires, which were passing over houses, will be removed as early as possible by investing Rs 38 crores in old Karimnagar district along with renovating toilets and Rs 25 crores were sanctioned for neat maintenance in around bus stand areas, he informed.

The Minister also said that dual desk benches are supplied to schools for students by investing Rs 15 crores and also loans were sanctioned for SCs and ST’s with 85 per cent subsidy. The government has invested Rs 13 crores for the welfare of weaving community and Rs 100 crores for welfare of workers of pisciculture along with supplying fish seeds on 100 per cent of subsidy.

Zilla Parishad Chairperson Tula Uma, Rajya Sabha Member Captain Laxmikantha Rao, RTC Chairman Somarapu Satyanarayana, Karimnagar District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmad, Jagtial District Collector Dr A Sharath, Sircilla District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar, MLAs Gangula Kamalakar, Putta Madhu, B Shoba and Sathish Kumar were present along with the MLC Naradasu Lakshman Rao and other officials.
