There has been a huge response from the artists for the realty show held on December 10 at University Arts and Science College. The prizes to the winners were presented during evening hours of Saturday. DIG (Prisons) K Keshava Naidu attended programme and released of brochure of Drishti hospice.

Under below 16 years category, K Maina of Warangal and Nagasri Sahiti of Godavarikhani have claimed first and second prizes. In 16-30 years category, G Narasimha of Hyderabad and A Pallavi of Hanamkonda won first and second prizes while J Madhulatha was given jury award.

In above 30 years category, K Srinivas of Karimnagar and Abdul Khader of Godavarikhani stood at first and second places. Warangal District Junior Colleges Association joint secretary Amarender Reddy presented the prizes.

Semi-finals of the contest would be held on December 26 in Hyderabad followed by grand finals event at Ravindra Bharathi in the city, informed the programme organiser and Rotary representative K Indrasena Reddy.

The programme was meant to support the activities of Drishti, which cares for the terminally-ill children and allows them to live happily at the end of their lives and to promote the artistic skills of youngsters in rural areas, he added. Rotary Club Hanamkonda office bearers M Sathish Kumar, A Vijay Kumar, Ramana Srinivas, Drishti chairperson Haima Rao, Vidyaranya Music College Principal Padmaja and others were present.
