Siddipet: Prasad Peddalingannagari, editor of Palleturu, a monthly magazine, has been conferred the National Ambedkar Fellowship Award.
The award was presented to him at a ceremony held at Panchasheel Maidan in New Delhi on Sunday.
The award is presented by the Bharatiya Dalit Sahitya Academy to social workers who have made valuable contributions in resolving Dalit Bahujan issues.
Prasad is the only one from Siddipet district to have received the award in social work category.
