A bitter domain-domination war is raging among the Telangana State Pradesh Congress Committee leaders in the wake of creation of new districts in the State.
​New Delhi: A bitter domain-domination war is raging among the Telangana State Pradesh Congress Committee leaders in the wake of creation of new districts in the State. Following the reorganisation of districts in the State which takes the number from 10 to 31, the District Congress Committees are in for a jolt as a reshuffle of the same is imminent now.
Several leaders have already launched a campaign in favour of themselves or their favourites making a beeline to the AICC headquarters in this regard. "We want to weigh our stock in the imminent reshuffle of the DCCs and the possible inclusions TSPCC list. There are efforts by some of our colleagues to kick us out of our districts playing local cards. Being seniors, we cannot be asked to move to smaller districts.
It would be better to leave electoral politics completely than shift base now," a senior leader in defence of his position said. Armed with their assessment reports and suggestions to the high command, several leaders have descended on Delhi and are meeting the AICC leaders at their
convenience.
While senior leaders are worried over their positions with the AICC deciding to appoint new DCC bodies to all the districts in Telangana State, the juniors are using all tricks in the trade to unseat some of them to their own benefit.
