Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Secretary K Pradeep Chandra on Friday informed officials of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) that the State government had achieved more than 90 per cent progress in digitisation of State-level clearances.

The Project Monitoring Group from PMO, led by Joint Secretary Shubha Kumar, held a meeting with State officials at the Secretariat and reviewed the progress of a host of ongoing railway, national highway, coalmine and infrastructure projects in Telangana.

The Chief Secretary said that Telangana, being the youngest State, was very progressive and wanted to be a role model for the rest of the country. The meeting also took stock of various inter-departmental issues, action taken report on e-Pragati and State-level clearances.

Issues pertaining to Hyderabad Metro Rail, Karimnagar Iron Ore Beneficiation Project, Coal Projects of Singareni Colleries and the new Munirabad-Mahbubabad railway line, Mallavaram-Bhilwara pipeline and rehabilitation with regard to National Highways.

Shubha Kumar said that the Centre was ready to coordinate with the State government and help resolve various issues. Principal Secretary Industries Arvind Kumar, Principal Secretary Environment and Forest BR Meena, Managing Director to Hyderabad Metro Rail NVS Reddy and Singareni Collieries MD Sridhar and other officials were present.
