Nalgonda: District police in association with Care Hospitals, Hyderabad conducted a free health camp for policemen and their family members at police headquarters here in Nalgonda on Friday.

Later addressing the gathering, he said cops face lot of work pressure and that in the long run could to lead to some ailments. Hence, they had decided to conduct the health screening camp for policemen and their family members.

Recently, police department had conducted a free heath camp at Marriguda for fluoride victims, further diagnosis test would also be conducted to the selected fluoride victims at free orthopedic and cardiology health camp, he added.

“With the assistance from corporate companies, we are under preparation to send the required fluoride-affected for surgeries in Hyderabad,” he added.

Regarding traffic problems in Nalgonda town, Reddy informed that one way traffic would be imposed in city’s busiest centre Prakasam Bazaar shortly and penalties would be levied on violators.Family members of cops who attend the camp expressed their pleasure on the screening tests and thanked the SP for his initiation.
