Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Friday said there was a need to inform people of the aims, objectives and the background of several programmes launched by the State government.

He said the collection of essays on governance compiled in the book, ‘Idee Suparipalana’ penned by noted analyst and CPRO to CM Jwala Narasimha Rao Vanam had rightly fulfilled the need.

The Chief Minister made these observations when the author presented to him a copy of the book at the Chief Minister’s Chambers in the Assembly.

The Chief Minister congratulated him and said the articles in the book had reflected how the Telangana State governance had turned into great governance.

The book has the compilation of articles that the writer wrote on the State government’s rule ever since the State of Telangana was formed in 2014.

Former chairman of Press Academy and veteran journalist Potturi Venkateswara Rao wrote an introduction to the book ‘Swapna Saakaram’ (Dream Realised) and Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) Chairman Prof Ghanta Chakrapani wrote an analysis ‘Manogatham’.

Prof Maramraju Satyanarayana Rao and senior journalist Bandaru Srinivasa Rao wrote the foreword, while senior journalist, writer and publisher of the book Juluri Gowri Shankar edited the compilation.
