Car hits two wheeler, drags woman's body for 2 km in Telangana

In a ghastly incident, a woman was killed and her her husband suffered critical injuries when their two-wheeler was struck by a car in Mahabubnagar district of Telangana.

Reports reveal that the couple identified as Turupu Siddilingam and his wife Maheshwaramma were on their way to attend the housewarming ceremony of their daughter but were hit by a car from behind.

While Maheshwaramma died on the spot, due to the impact of the collision, her body landed on the windshield of the car. However, the driver instead of stopping the car drove on for about two kms and abandoned the vehicle later. He fled fearing the police would catch him. Police are currently investigating and are in hunt to nab the driver and owner of the vehicle.
