Earning criticism for not stopping and offering help for the victim, Taduri Madhusudhana Chary who succumbed to death on the spot after a truck hit his motorcycle.

The victim who was travelling to Ramappa temple in Palampet village with his friends, was struck by a truck. While the others suffered injuries, Chary died on the spot. The injured were rushed to the hospital but a fleet of cars were witnessed passing by at the accident spot. Soon, it came to light that the cars belonged to Minister of Tribal Welfare, Azmeera Chandulal.

When he was asked about the incident, the Minister was quoted saying to Hindustan Times, "I was busy attending a call from my relatives when my convoy went past the accident spot. In the normal circumstances, I would have got down and called on the accident victims but I was in a hurry then.”
