Extreme cold grips Adilabad

Hyderabad: Extreme cold weather conditions returned to Adilabad with the night temperature recording a low of 5.5 degrees Celsius during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Tuesday.
The minimum temperatures at one or two places in Telangana were markedly down (4.10 degrees C or less), the Met department bulletin said on Tuesday. They were appreciably below normal (3.1O to 5 deg C) at one or two places in the State.
The other night temperatures recorded in the State were: Medak 10.4, Ramagundam 11.9, Khammam 12, Nizamabad 12.2, Hanamkonda 13.5, Hyderabad 13.9, Hakimpet 14.4, Nalgonda 16, Bhadrachalam 16.5 and Mahbubnagar 18.1.
According to the forecast, dry weather is very likely to prevail in Telangana from December 28 to 31. No large change during the subsequent three days is the weather outlook.
