Hyderabad: The opposition TDP MLAs Sandra Venkata Veeraiah and A Revanth Reddy accused the ruling party of suppressing the party’s voice in the State Assembly. Reacting to their suspension in the State Assembly here on Tuesday, Veeraiah termed the suspension as biased and said that though the AIMIM party members had rushed into the well on several occasions the government never suspended them.

He reminded that it was the ruling party which had promised SC categorisation. But, now it was trying to divide the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS), which was spearheading the agitation for SC categorisation, he said.

Taking a dig at the ruling party after his suspension, Revanth Reddy said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had assured the House in the past that he would take an all-party delegation to Delhi but nothing had been done so far and when they tried to raise the issue, their voice was
being stifled.
