ACB app for techno-probe

​Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Telangana has become the first anti-graft agency in the country to go for technology-based investigation and digitalised administration.

ACB Director-General A K Khan on Friday launched e-Office system that enables paperless administration and a web- and Android-based Legal Cell application for effective and close monitoring of all ACB cases pending in various courts.

The objective of the digital application was to improve transparency, efficiency, effectiveness, accountability and also to make it convenient to employees to work at any point of time and from any place, Khan said.

The legal cell application, developed with the assistance of Hyderabad-based IT solutions company Gray Logic, will enable all the ACB officials, including legal advisers and public prosecutors, to closely supervise the production of witnesses and the performance of witnesses and to track ACB cases, Khan said.

The application helps in easy monitoring of the performance of the investigating officer and allows the senior officers to give suitable instructions to improve performance in the court work.
