Yadadri all set for New Year’s rush
The Yadadri hill shrine is all set to witness more than one lakh devotees on the New Year’s Day. Keeping in view the heavy rush, the temple would be opened at 3 am on January 1 for darshans. About 1.5 lakhs laddus were being made ready for the day, temple officials informed.

Meanwhile, darshan would be provided to the devotees through Uttara Dwaram (North Entrance) at Balalayam from 6.46 am to 9 am on Vaikunta Ekadashi, slated on January 8, 2017.
The temple would witness a heavy rush of devotees on the auspicious day. The devotees, who generally throng the temples to have Uttara Dwara Darshanam, believe that the darshan brings them good health and luck. A kite festival is going to be organised in Yadagirigutta on a big way on January 26.
