Haj forms from tomorrow
Telangana State Haj Committee (TSHC) Special Officer Prof. S A Shukoor has advised District Haj Societies to properly guide aspiring Haj Pilgrims in filling the Haj application forms.
Hyderabad: Telangana State Haj Committee (TSHC) Special Officer Prof. S A Shukoor has advised District Haj Societies to properly guide aspiring Haj Pilgrims in filling the Haj application forms.
He was addressing a meeting of the officials of the District Haj Societies in his chambers at the Haj House here on Saturday.
Prof. Shukoor said that Haj forms would be issued and accepted from January 2 to January 24 by the State Haj Committee. The HAF can be downloaded from www.hajcommittee.gov.in and can also be downloaded on Android Mobile App “HAJ COMMITTEE OF INDIA”.
The Special Officer said that this year Haj would be on August 31(Thursday). Haj flights would commence from July 25, in two phases. Pilgrims would be provided accommodation in two categories in Makkah.
Those who opt for the green category would not be allowed to cook their food the by Saudi Authorities. The pilgrims under the two reserved categories would be selected without qurra (draw of lots), and for selection of pilgrims from the general category qurra would be held in the first week of March 2017.
