Hyderabad: Health Minister C Laxma Reddy on Sunday said out-patient and disease confirmation tests would be conducted at Electronic Primary Health Centres. This would prove handy for a better healthcare for people, he said.

Along with Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy, Laxma Reddy inaugurated the e-Health Hospital at Shadnagar in Ranga Reddy district on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, Laxma Reddy said the medical staff would visit every house in the chosen place to offer medical and health services.

This would help the medical team identify long-term health problems and diseases of patients and take extra care for future health needs, he said. The details of patients would be computerised by the medical staff, who would give required medicines on time, he claimed.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was committed to providing medical facilities in the twin cities and the State, he added. A plan is on cards to set up three super specialty hospitals to offer corporate health services in the twin cities to cater to growing needs of patients. The Minister claimed that the State government was giving top priority to health sector in the State.

Mahender Reddy said that the KCR government was making efforts for transforming the State into a healthy Telangana. He appealed to the people to follow Chandrashekar Rao’s policy in this regard. MP Jithender Reddy, MLA Anjaiah Yadav and officials were present.
