Ponnala to lead Congress panel
The AICC has constituted a State-level Implementation Committee headed by former TPCC President Ponnala Lakshmaiah to monitor the functioning of party in the State.
Hyderabad: The AICC has constituted a State-level Implementation Committee headed by former TPCC President Ponnala Lakshmaiah to monitor the functioning of party in the State. According to sources, the committee will ensure effective implementation of the programmes, including taking up political campaigns suggested by the AICC.
Ahmed Patel, Congress party senior leader, will see that the State committee carries out programmes given by the AICC from time to time. A clear set of guidelines are yet to be received by the committee, according to party sources. “We have been informed that this committee has been formed to ensure implementation of programme in event of any call given by the AICC,” said a member.
TPCC Vice- President and former Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy will be the co-chairperson, while Mallu Ravi, Dasoju Sravan and Premlal are convener, co-convener and press coordinator respectively.
The members include MLAs A Sampath Kumar, Ch Vamshi Chand Reddy, former MLC B Kamalaker Rao, A Shyam Mohan, Abid Rasool Khan, C J Srinivasa Rao, P Shravan Kumar Reddy, P Indira Shoban, Regulapati Ramya, P Vinay Kumar and Marri Aditya Reddy.
