Siddipet: Deputy Speaker of Telangana Assembly Padma Devender Reddy on Wednesday asserted that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is striving to set the right education system in the State after it was allegedly ruined by the previous governments.
Speaking after inaugurating the first State ‘mahasabha’ of Telangana Progressive Teachers’ Federation here, along with Medak MP Kotha Prabhaka Reddy, she said that the TRS government had launched schemes to usher in the required changes in the education set-up in the State.
The Deputy Speaker advised teachers to make efforts to create awareness among students on socially relevant issues, and not just confine to their duties.
