​Hyderabad: Rachakonda police on Wednesday arrested six brick kiln owners for procuring child labourers from Odisha and engaging them in hazardous brick making units.
The arrested include B Srinivas of Kushaiguda in Hyderabad, Dharavath Jaguar, Dharavath Ramji, Bhukya Ramulu, Deeravath Raju and Mudavath Jamulu Naik – all five from Bommalaramaram mandal.
It may be recalled the Rachakonda police had recently raided the brick kiln units and rescued about 170 child labourers engaged in the brick making units.
