Hyderabad: IT Minister KT Rama Rao exhorted youth to emulate Swami Vivekananda to fight against challenges and win in every endeavors.

Participating as a chief guest at 155th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda at Ramakrishna Math here on Thursday, the Minister said the youth was real asset of our country.

“Indeed India is getting younger with 50 per cent of population below 29 years while the whole world gets old with its aged population. Let’s not be bogged down by problems and challenges which are common to everyone’s life,” he suggested the youth.

Rama Rao urged the youth not to get scared of death which was unavoidable and instead fear the life not lived and try to live it by constant efforts by overcoming the problems.

As Vivekananda said and used to preach, the youth of India should set goals for themselves and make efforts until they became winners, Rama Rao asserted.

He exuded confidence that the youth who remain hopeless at the current scenario in their surroundings should be inspired with Vivekananda’s teachings and surpass all odds.

The Minister said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao who was scheduled to attend the event abstained from doing so due to brief illness.

Rama Rao read out a message of Chandrashekar Rao on the occasion which called upon the youth to scale heights taking inspiration from Vivekananda’s preaching.
