Meet on price policy for Kharif crops held in Hyderabad
The Commission on Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP) in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture held a meeting on Price Policy for Kharif Crops 2017-18 for southern region in the National Institute of Plant Health Management at Rajendra Nagar on Thursday.
​Hyderabad: The Commission on Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP) in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture held a meeting on Price Policy for Kharif Crops 2017-18 for southern region in the National Institute of Plant Health Management at Rajendra Nagar on Thursday.
The meeting was attended by Vijay Pal Sharma, Chairman, CACP, Dr Shailaja Sharma, Member Secretary, CACP, Parthasarathi, Secretary, Agriculture Department, M Jagan Mohan, Commissioner, Agriculture Department and other officials of Agriculture Department amidst the presence of scientists, progressive farmers, representatives from the farmer-producer organisations from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala.
This is the first time the commission has decided to organise its region-wise meeting to understand the disparities in MSP. Earlier the meeting was regularly organised in Delhi.
