Hans lensman wins national award
Hyderabad: The Hans India senior photographer N Shiva Kumar Meru added another feather to his steeming cap. In their Sunday announcement, Sigma Art Photography conferred the TNB Gold Medal Award on Shiva Kumar in the National Photo-Journalism Contest-2017.

In their Sunday announcement, Sigma Art Photography conferred the TNB Gold Medal Award on Shiva Kumar in the National Photo-Journalism Contest-2017.
The award-winning picture captured human emotions when women, who sat on a protest, were arrested by police personnel in Hyderabad.
A record 1,500 photographers from all over India participated in the coveted competition. The TNB Grand Award has been conferred on Rajesh Reddy N.
The award has been instituted in memory of eminent photo-journalist late Thavutu Nagabhushanam. Meanwhile, according to the organisers, the awards will be given away by IT Minister KT Rama Rao at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
