On Sunday, the Minister along with family members had darshan of Lord Sri Laxminarasimha Swamy at Bala Aalyam and performed special puja.

Speaking to media later, Talasani said the present appearance of Yadadri would completely change very soon and it would become an icon of Telangana.

Stating that TRS government was giving top priority to farmers, he said drinking water and irrigation issues in the State would be permanently addressed through the government flagship programmes Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha.

“Government has been encouraging fish farming in the State for the welfare of Mudiraj and Gangaputra communities. As a part of it, recently, lakhs of fish seed was released in all minor and major water bodies in the state and CM had issued favourable orders to both the communities with full rights to hunt fishes in water tanks,” he said.

He further informed that government was planning to allocate special funds in forthcoming State budget for the uplift of backward communities.

Meanwhile, Central Information Commissioner Madabushi Sridhar Acharyulu, who visited the temple on Sunday with family members, had interacted with media and said KCR had strong determination to develop Yadadri temple on the lines of Tirumala.

He informed that Endowments department was also part of the government and people could get the required information of the department under RTI Act, he added.
