Hyderabad Traffic cops book 703 cases in one day

Hyderabad: Hyderabad traffic police had registered as many as 703 cases against violators on Tuesday during the special drive as part of the Road Safety Week.
A whopping 107 violators were found to be minors, said Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Jitender. Parents of the minor drivers were summoned to the traffic training institute and counselling was given to minor drivers and their parents, he said.
Further, 313 cases in central zone, 225 cases in west zone and 165 cases in north zone were registered. Of these, 533 cases were booked for not wearing helmet, 45 cases for not sporting the license plate and 18 cases for wrong side driving.
