New Delhi: TRS MP B Vinod Kumar on Friday urged the Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi to establish a school of excellence in Telangana. MP who met the Minister on Friday invited him to visit Telangana for a first hand appraisal of the good work being done by the State government in the Minority welfare area. The residential schools established for minorities are of great help in training students of minority communities in various skills.

He urged the Minister to establish Maulana Azad National Urdu University at Karimnagar apart from sanctioning more minority residential schools to the State. Vinod Kumar also explained the minority friendly governance by the KCR government and the measures it had implemented for their welfare. The State government was also contemplating to introduce 12 per cent reservations for Muslims on the Tamil Nadu lines he said adding that the CM K Chandrashekar Rao himself announced the same in the Assembly the other day.
