Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Friday reiterated that his government was committed to the welfare of retired Army personnel.
Addressing retired Army personnel from the Telangana State who met him at Pragathi Bhavan to express their gratitude and thank him for initiating many measures for the welfare of Army personnel, KCR said that the State government would do all that was necessary for the army personnel.
Led by MP Capt Laxmikanth Rao, several retired Army personnel said that in the past no other Chief Minister had even bothered to give them appointment or listen to their genuine problems.
The retired Army Personnel Welfare Association leaders presented an Artillery Model Gun to the Chief Minister.
