​Hyderabad: The city police on Tuesday advised the people not to carry any hand bags, briefcases, cameras, tiffin carriers or other containers while going to Parade Grounds on January 26 to attend the Republic Day celebrations.
Any person found carrying such items would be subjected to frisking and checking by the police, City Police Commissioner, M Mahendar Reddy said.
He also said certain restrictions on the movement and parking of vehicles would be in force in order to facilitate proper regulation of traffic in connection with the parade and Republic Day celebrations at Secunderabad Parade Grounds.
The city police chief appealed to the people to cooperate with the police since it was a security requirement.
