Cops allay terror attack rumours

Hyderabad: Commissioners of Hyderabad and Rachakonda Police, M Mahender Reddy and Mahesh Bhagwat on Friday appealed to the people not to believe in rumours about any threat to peace in the city.

Some messages were being floated in social media about threat to public safety and security in Hyderabad and Rachakonda. The information being circulated in social media is nothing but rumours and found to be false.

All necessary and adequate security measures have been made to maintain peace and public order. The law and order situation is peaceful and people are requested not to believe in rumours, according to the two police officers in separate statements.
