Hyderabad lad to represent India in UNYA

Hyderabad: Akhilesh Reddy Singireddy (24) from Hyderabad has been selected as a Youth Delegate to represent India in the United Nations Youth Assembly (UNYA). He is currently working in North Carolina, USA as a software developer.
UNYA receives thousands of applications from around the world and shortlists only the best candidates as delegates. The conference will be held at United Nations headquarters, Manhattan, New York from February 1 to 3.
“I feel privileged to represent India in the youth assembly,” he said adding that it was huge responsibility and he was willing to work hard to bring laurels to the country.
