​Canberra: Hyderabad-based medical practitioner Purushottam Sawrikar was among the four Indian-origin persons honoured by Australia with its civilian awards for their contributions in the field of medicine and work towards the community.
Purushottam Sawrikar, currently working in Sydney, received the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for the year 2017 announced on the Australia Day for his service to medicine and to the Indian community.
