Upping its ante against the government, the TTDP has decided to send a team of party leaders to New Delhi to meet Union Minister for Agriculture Radha Mohan Singh to discuss how the State government had allegedly diverted the central funds sanctioned as input subsidy for farmers.

​Hyderabad: Upping its ante against the government, the TTDP has decided to send a team of party leaders to New Delhi to meet Union Minister for Agriculture Radha Mohan Singh to discuss how the State government had allegedly diverted the central funds sanctioned as input subsidy for farmers.

The delegation led by TTDP President L Ramana and A Revanth Reddy will go to Delhi on Feb 7. During their three-day stay in Delhi, they will submit another memorandum to Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu explaining how the State government has so far not spent the funds released under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) for the construction of one lakh houses for weaker sections of society.

They will also meet the Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment T Gehlot and will submit a report alleging that the State government had diverted the funds meant to be spent under SC/ST sub plan.

They will also meet the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and will draw his attention as to how the State government is forcibly taking lands from various farmers by bringing in a new Land Act.

Later they propose to take up Praja Poru by holding public meetings in the Assembly segments represented by all ministers to expose the unfulfilled promises of the ruling TRS.

The first meeting would be held in Gajwel the Chief Ministers constituency followed by Kolhapur represented by Jupally Krishna Rao, Nirmal constituency of A Indrakaran Reddy and Khammam-Palair constituency of Tummala Nageswara Rao, senior party leader R Chandrasekhar Reddy told reporters.
