Ramagundam: NTPC Business Excellence Assessment 2016-17 for Ramagundam which was organised from January 23 to 28. It was carried out by the BE Assessment Team comprising J C Narayanappa, GM(C&M) WR-2 HQ, Sanjay Date, AGM (O&M) Kawas, A Tapan Kumar Bandyopadhyay, AGM (FH) Sipat, N Sreekumar, AGM (MTP/BE) Kayamkulam, and was headed by B Devicharan, Quality Champion, Pune based on NTPC Business Excellence Model-2016.
On the opening day, the team interacted with D K Dubey, ED-Ramagundam followed by the discussion with HoDs. During the assessment, the Assessment Team visited and interacted with employees of all the departments. They also interacted with woman employees, office bearers of Union and Association, partners, suppliers, contractors, and contracting agency workers.
The team also visited prominent locations of the plant besides visiting nearby villages and Sai Seva Samithi to assess different CSR-CD activities. At the end of meeting, the team briefed the senior officials on assessment and the points for further improvements of the station.
