Police initiative for safe drinking water

Gurrampodu (Nalgonda): District SP Prakash Reddy inaugurated the safe drinking water plants under Police Janamaithri programme at fluoride hit villages Utlapalli, Junuthala, Makkapalli, Amuloor, Nadikuda, Mosangi and Chamaledu of Gurrampodu mandal on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that to relieve the respective villagers from the clutches of fluoride, the water plants were set up by the department. He thanked Simad lab limited of Chityal, Ideal group of Narketpally and India cements, CPW founder Bokka Ravi and others who extended their financial support for a noble cause.
