Woman burns 10-year-old daughter for spilling flour
In a gruesome incident, a mother set her 10-year-old daughter ablaze in Shadnagar on Friday night. The victim has been identified as Dubba Radhika and there are having neck-deep financial problems.
In a gruesome incident, a mother set her 10-year-old daughter ablaze in Shadnagar on Friday night. The victim has been identified as Dubba Radhika and there are having neck-deep financial problems.
Radhika has spilled flour on the ground by seeing that her mom got angry and she told to fetch it for making chapati. While she was fetching the spilled flour, mother dragged her into the house and took a bottle of kerosene and poured it on her. She took a burning firewood from a chula, set the girl ablaze and left her on the floor.
Hearing Radhika screaming neighbors and family people have rushed to the spot and they have called an ambulance to send her to a nearby government hospital. Doctors informed that she has burnt over 70 percent and her condition right now is critical. Police have registered a case against her mother attempt to murder under various IPC sections.
Police sources said that her mother Swarupa is mentally ill that is the reason she has taken an extreme step to kill her daughter.
