Former minister and noted film director Dasari Narayana Rao has been admitted to KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Former minister and noted film director Dasari Narayana Rao has been admitted to KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
According to a medical bulletin issued by the hospital, Mr Rao is suffering from infections to his kidneys and lungs. While he has been currently put under ventilator support, the director is responding well to the treatment and is likely to undergo a chest surgery.
Popularly known as Dasari, the film personality has directed a record number of 151 Telugu movies including many blockbusters with popular actors such as Akkineni Nagaswara Rao and NTR. With a career spanning two decades, Dasari Narayana Rao is known for delivering memorable movies like Osey Ramulamma, Bobbili Puli, Megha Sandesham, etc.
