A total of 28 students of Social Welfare and five students of Tribal Welfare Residential Schools made it to the prestigious Azim Premji University in Bengaluru. 

Hyderabad: A total of 28 students of Social Welfare and five students of Tribal Welfare Residential Schools made it to the prestigious Azim Premji University in Bengaluru.

The students secured 33 seats through open competition in the national level entrance exam for undergraduate programme.

Speaking to media persons, Dr RS Praveen Kumar, Secretary, TSWREIS said, “Never before we got these many seats and it is a golden moment in the history of residential societies.

The entire credit goes to all teachers and students for their tremendous hard work and commitment. Opportunity is the difference between success and failure. We are on a mission to pull the students out of abject poverty and help them to reach great heights in life.”

The Secretary thanked the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and the Minister for Scheduled Caste Development Jagadishwar Reddy for their unstinted support to the educational advancement of the deprived children under the KG-PG Mission.
