The following funds were incorporated in the Union Budget for Telangana by the Finance Minister on Wednesday and also the assurances given are as under

- Industrial Development: Rs 50 crore
- Tribal University: Rs 10 crore
- AMD Research Centre (Uranium): Rs 122.5 crore
- Development of Salarjung Museum West and East Blocks: Rs 27.4 crore
- Funds for NIA office and its staff housing IIT: Rs 75 crore (with Japanese aid)
- International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials, Hyderabad: Rs 59.9 crore
- Centre for DNA Finger Printing and Diagnostics: Rs 38.2 crore
- National Institute of Animal Biotechnology: Rs 64 crore.
Externally Aided Projects
- Municipal Development: Rs 195 crore
- Roads: Rs 200 crore
- Integrated Rural Development Programme: Rs 150 crore
- Singareni: Rs 1,600 crore
- Railways: Peddapalli-Jagityal line.
