Hyderabad: The all-party meeting on SC categorisation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled for Monday has been postponed.

The Prime Minister’s Office has informed the Chief Minister on Saturday evening that appointment for the proposed meeting of the all-party delegation led by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao scheduled for Monday has been deferred.

The PMO officials said that they would convey the next date of appointment later. As a result the KCR’s Delhi tour has been postponed.

According to sources, the Chief Minister had planned to have a one-on-one meeting with the Prime Minister soon after submitting a memorandum on the issue of SC categorisation and explain the financial situation in the state and the drastic fall in the state revenues.

He was to explain the measures the state government had taken to promote cashless economy as suggested by the Centre.

The Chief Minister had prepared a report explaining how digital transactions have been taken up in nearly 90 villages.
