The State government on Monday prepared a draft of Academic Calendar 2017-18 for upper-primary, primary and high schools in Telangana.
Hyderabad: The State government on Monday prepared a draft of Academic Calendar 2017-18 for upper-primary, primary and high schools in Telangana.
As per the draft, the academic year 2017-18 will be from March 21, 2017 to April 23, 2018. The summer vacations will be from April 24 to June 11.
The draft calendar will be sent to teachers' organisations for suggestions and approval.
The State government also suggested change in school timings. For high schools, classes will commence from 9.30 am while it will be 9 am for upper-primary and primary classes.
The pre-final exams for 10th class students are likely to be held either from February 16 to 28 or from February 21 to March 6, 2018.
