Kadapa: The administration is gearing up to conduct Gandikota Heritage festival on a grand scale on February 18 and 19. Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, District Collector K V Satyanarayana said that various competitions for school and college students will be conducted from February 8 to 16.
“Competitions will be held in essay writing, quiz, dance, singing folk songs, swimming and kho kho etc.,” he added.
He further said that the Gandikota Run will be organised in Kadapa, Proddatur, Rajampet, Rayachoti, Mydukur, Budvel and Jammalamadugu on February 12. Joint Collector Swetha Teotia, Tourism Officer Gopal and other officials were present.
