Irrigation minister T Harish Rao has set February 28 as deadline to submit the proposals for the revival of abandoned water bodies and tanks in the villages under Mission Kakatiya phase three.
​Hyderabad: Irrigation minister T Harish Rao has set February 28 as deadline to submit the proposals for the revival of abandoned water bodies and tanks in the villages under Mission Kakatiya phase three.
The minister held a video conference with district officials and enquired the status of progress in the works taken up under Mission Kakatiya phase one and two.
He instructed the officials to complete works under phase one by this end of this month and phase two works before June.
The minister warned of strict action against those who failed to achieve the desired goals in the implementation of the prestigious Mission Kakatiya scheme.
Harish clarified that tender process would be initiated soon after the new proposals are submitted to the government.
