Wanaparthy district gets Gurukul for girls

Wanaparthy: The State government has sanctioned a new Gurukul residential school for girls for Backward Classes under Pebbair mandal of Wanaparthy district on Thursday. This is part of the State government’s policy to establish 119 Gurukuls.

Congress MLA Chinna Reddy welcomed the decision. He said that he had made efforts for the establishment of the Gurukul. Addressing the media, Chinna Reddy said, “As per the GO 3, this new Gurukul residential school for BCs at Pebbair has become a reality because of our continuous efforts.”

The Congress party, he said, would support the rally to be organised by TJAC Chairman Prof Kodandaram to highlight the problem of unemployment.
