Similarly, the Chief Minister is keen to visit all districts and review the progress of the government welfare programmes. This will also give him first-hand information about the administration in the newly-carved districts.
The Chief Minister will stay put in a few identified villages for a night to learn about the impact of government schemes. He would interact with locals to identify the reasons for their problems.
This will also give him an opportunity to understand the measures that need to be taken to clear the hurdles that may crop up in implementing the community-based schemes meant for raising the living standards of sheep growers, weavers and other communities.
He will give necessary instructions to the Collectors and other officials on all such issues, the sources said.
The Collectors have already been instructed to make arrangements to lay foundation stones for the construction of integrated administration complexes in new districts during the CM’s visit. Each building cost is estimated to be around Rs 30 crore.
“KCR will prepare a progress report during his visit on each scheme being implemented,” a top official said. The CM would also visit the places where Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiratha and double bedroom scheme are in progress.
He is also likely to visit social welfare residential educational institutions, including the new institutions and Gurukulams opened for SC, ST, BC and minority communities to provide corporate level education to the poor students and would also be included in KCR’s tour.
The Chief Minister will hold mini-public meetings in identified mandal headquarters with the beneficiaries of the government schemes and join community meals in the colonies.
A special vehicle equipped with hi-tech facilities would be used during his 2-month long schedule, sources said.
