Artistes’ selection for movies begins

Guntur: Click Cine Craft in association with Malilneni Productions on Sunday started selections for movies at a programme held at LVR & Sons Clubs in Guntur.

HMTV Group sponsored the programme. Talented persons seeking opportunity in films, interested in writing lyrics, dialogues, penning stories and direction may enroll their names.

The selected candidates will get an opportunity in Akhil Akkineni’s next film. Selections will continue for another four days. Speaking on the occasion, Malineni Group vice-chairman Dr Permumalla said that to encourage local talents, they were conducting the selections.

He said that selections will continue for another four days. He urged the talented persons to enroll their names and added that it is best opportunity for them.

He said that the producers also may enroll their names and will specify the budget for their proposed films. The Malineni Productions will select the director, actors, story writer, and music director for the film and if the budget exceeds the amount mentioned by the producers, the Malineni Productions will bear it.

Later, Malineni Lakshmaiah Engineering College students performed flash mob and dance. Earlier, the girl students performed classical dance at the inaugural function.

Pop singer Pratyusha Sarma, music director Sati Preetam and LVR and Sons Club president Dr Rayapati Srinivas were among those who attended the programme.
