Hyderabad: City traffic police have collected Rs 52.83 lakh as fine from violators this year so far till Monday.
Further, traffic police have booked 1,921 cases against drunk drivers of which 823 drunk drivers were awarded with prison term ranging between one to 10 days, while over 400 drunk drivers were directed to do social service for a day apart from collecting the mulct.
