Hyderabad/ Tirupati: Tirumala-Tirupati Devastanams has made all arrangements to receive Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at Tirumala on Wednesday. This is the first visit by the Telangana Chief Minister after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
The visit assumes importance as KCR on Wednesday would be presenting the ornaments made for Lord Venkateswara. KCR had vowed that he would be presenting the ornaments if Telangana state was formed. He would be accompanied by his wife, daughter and MP K Kavitha, Finance Minister Eatala Rajender, Endowments Minister Indrakaran Reddy, Excise Minister Padma Rao and others.

All the main roads of Tirupati were decorated with pink banners and cutouts of KCR. The impending visit is a hot topic among people of the city with palpable excitement in the air.
Seems like there is a quite a fan following for KCR in Andhra Pradesh. KCR’s 63rd birthday celebrations were held in East Godavari last week. They formed the Telangana State Seemandhrula United Front (TSSUF) and organised KCR’s birthday at several venues like Kakinada, Rajamahendravaram, Amalapuram, Mandapeta, and Ambajipeta.
They cut cakes, distributed fruits, and organised poor feeding programmes to mark the occasion. KCR fans club at Tenali, which comes under the capital region of AP, also celebrated the event. The president of the club Khadir organised the event and several charity activities had been taken up.
It is worth remembering that, KCR’s brief speech at foundation of Amaravati received great applause from the Andhra people.
