Hyderabad: Samajika Telangana JAC chairman Prof Gali Vinod Kumar has condemned TJAC chairman Prof M Kodandaram’s jobless youth rally on February 22.

Speaking to media persons here on Monday, Prof Vinod Kumar said that Prof Kodandaram never raised ‘social justice’ in Telangana and never demanded increase in reservations for SC, ST, BC and Minorities as per their population. He also pointed out that Kodandaram never questioned Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for not appointing a Dalit as the CM as promised.

Vinod Kumar also said the TJAC chief never bothered to demand KCR to induct SC, ST and women in his cabinet. Though Bahujans constitute about 93 per cent in the State population, there are only seven ministers while upper castes have been given 12 berths in the cabinet.

He also alleged that tenders for Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya have been given to contractors belonging to upper castes. But Kodandaram never opened his mouth against this discrimination in Telangana State.

Vinod Kumar demanded Kodandaram that he should clarify TJAC policy on agriculture, construction of irrigation projects, corporate sector and others.

Samajika Telangana JAC chairman reminded that Telangana Political JAC was formed at the behest of KCR and Jana Reddy and Prof Kodandaram was appointed as its convener.

He reminded that many Bahujans participated in the separate Telangana agitation and 1,200 people laid down their lives for the cause. ‘We expected social justice only in separate Telangana State, but it remains a distant dream,, he added.

Gali Vinod Kumar said the Bahujans are totally against the February 22 unemployed persons’ rally of Prof Kodandaram because his community people have been backing the movement with an eye on 2019 elections and wanted to make their community leader as the CM of Telangana. He said both KCR and Prof Kodandaram were confusing the people of Telangana State.

He appealed the unemployed people and Kodandaram’s supporters not to back the movement, which was being organised only to help make their community leader as the CM. “We are planning to form Bahujana Rajyadhikara Party (BRP) on March 15 and balladeer Gaddar, Vimalakka, Cheruku Sudhakar and others will participate in the event. Our party’s main agenda is social justice in Telangana State, make BC community leader as the CM,” he added.

BRP Adviser Dr Kaluva Mallaiah, Ashok, Yellam and others were present at the press meet.
